NCSSM Code4Charity is a student-led organization that creates software solutions for nonprofit organizations across North Carolina. We are a group of students who are passionate about technology and want to make a difference in our community. We are currently looking for new members to join our team. If you are interested in joining, please join our Facebook group and come to a meeting. We meet on Thursdays at 8 PM in Beall 1.
Whether you're a pro at computer science or have never written a line of code in your life, we'd love to have you in our club!
If you're interested in programming, we're looking for people with experience in web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), data science (Python, R), and mobile development (Swift, Java, Kotlin, and React Native).
Designers and copywriters are responsible for creating website designs (using tools such as Figma and Canva), and writing content that appears on websites.
Members on the outreach and marketing teams create graphics for social media to promote our products and recruit new members. Additionally, they are responsible for reaching out to nonprofits to find new projects.
